Hi Everyone,
Just had a few evenings when the studio was too cold and there was far too much football in the sitting room so I found refuge in my cosy upstairs office, intending to do some digital design work. However, spurred on by Linda's example I had treated myself to some Inktense pencils so started to mess about with them in my sketchbook. One thing led to another and I made a couple of digital collages from different pages, thought you might like to have a peep....

Wow! Beautiful colours Marie x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Marie - I especially like the first one - the different intensities of colour, from soft black and white sketch to the darker applied inktense is wonderful. How nice to get a look in my tutors sketchbook too! x
ReplyDeleteHi Annabel, colour is my big love! Hilary, we are equals now! I'm no longer your tutor.....
ReplyDeleteMarie
Oh I know! - but I can't help still thinking of you as partly my tutor .... always such wise and encouraging words. And it really is nice to work with you and get to see some of your working ideas and processes x
ReplyDeleteInktense pencils are a bit of a revelation - they start off a bit 'dull' but sing when they get a bit wet. I am a bit of a fan!
ReplyDeleteI am really enjoying watching you all put this work together and, if I am honest, with just a little pang of jealousy! I am really struggling to find time to create at the moment but you ladies seem to have it sussed.
Lovely collages Marie.
ReplyDeleteI have two new Christmas stockings to make for my grandsons so if I make a left once and a right one do you think these would count towards my pieces for 'orientation'?!
Hi Edwina,
ReplyDeleteI guess the stockings could work for you!
LTW-WTL Finding time for sketchbook work has become quite easy for me, it's by my computer and I doodle mindlessly while I wait for things to happen or when I'm on the phone, the doodles can involve me and I forget all about the computer work I should be doing......
